Easter was fun this year. Everyone gathered at our house for dinner and special treats. Jarem and Lexi looked for eggs, while the adults had a trivial test (written by me). For correct answers, one of the kids would go down and find treats in the basement where Dad hid them. Jarem went down with them several times. At the end, there were two clues to find the ultimate goal.... the Easter Basket. Alisha found it this year (it was on the back porch). We learned a lot about Easter customs and symbols. I even stumped Marc on a few of the questions. The rest of the evening was spent dividing the goodies, having dessert, and doing taxes.

Well Lanae...you have figured out how to do the slide show. Guess I had better get on the ball to keep up with you! I loved everything you wrote, especially about being an "empty nester." It is a scary time, but you will find they keep coming back, again...& again & again...Like you, I am enjoying some of the alone time even if I do keep the radio on for company
